Grenache (70%), Syrah (30%)
The vineyards are located at approx. 750m just to the N & NE of Montsant mountain. Cool breezy spot with dramatic red schist and mostly southern orientation. Vineyard planted 18 years ago. Drip irrigation only used on young vines or under extreme conditions.
Fermented naturally in stainless steel then raised in 225l barriques for at least two years and bottled without filtration and minimal use of sulphur. The wine is then left to mature in bottle for at least one further year.

The wine has a ruby red colour with shades of deep violet. On the nose, the aroma of ripe fruit juice and cherry abounds. The palate is very well made, you can taste the fruit in the first instance and pepper later. The whole has persistent acidity and minerality.
