Tasting Notes
A serious, intense red with plenty of backbone and smooth tannins. Ripe black fruits dominate the nose and the palate, with notes of cedar and toffee.
Food Pairing
Excellent with char gilled steaks or roast meats, pizza and strong cheeses. As a 100% Vegan wine it is ideal served with rich pulse laden casseroles or mushroom based dishes.
Serving Suggestions
The wine is ready for drinking now and should ideally be served at 16-18°C. It can also be lightly chilled in the heat of summer.

We loved this wine! A beautiful colour, fruity, smooth with a hint of oak – aka all the things we love in a red.
Will 100% buy this again, thanks Celler Alimara – and keep up the good work!

The first thing that hits when tasting the Pinzellada is the intenseness of the fruit, lots of really ripe sweet blackcurrants and blueberries, there’s also a mouth-watering acidity giving a real sense of vibrancy and freshness. Smoke, liquorice and some dried herbs, possibly thyme, make an appearance, the tannins are noticeable along with a hint of oak but everything is beautifully balanced, finishing long and satisfying. Alcohol is relatively high at 14.5% but didn’t seem like it.
