Description
Varieties
100% Trepat
Terroir
Dry-farmed vineyards located in Pira, on the northern side of Conca de Barberà where the climate is cooler. The soil is clay-limestone and now certified organic after 30 years of integrated viticulture.
Production
With manual harvest mid October, the grapes are picked into 20kg bins and cooled to 10ºC overnight with vinification carried out on the property. After passing along a huge selection table the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Brief cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation for about three weeks in a temperature-controlled stainless steel auto-pigeage tank and then a 3-month rest period after pressing.

Tasting Notes
Clear appearance, pale red colour. Best served chilled. On the nose, you’ll find inviting scents of blackberry, strawberry and a hint of clove. Fresh on the palate there’s good acidity with minimal tannins. It’s light-bodied but there’s bags of flavours of raspberry, cherry, blackberry and a touch of citrus. It has a remarkably long finish!
